Are you a Member of the Scottish Rite or have you ever thought of becoming one?
Here in the 18th Masonic District we have a Scottish Rite Club that is attached to the Valley of Orlando. The Lake Scottish Rite Club & Ladies of the Lake.
That is not to say we don’t invite Scottish Rite members and their Ladies of All Valleys in, and outside of the Orient of Florida. Master Masons and their ladies are encouraged to attend as well to get a feel of the fellowship from the Scottish Rite.
We hold our Monthly Meetings the First Wednesday of Each Month at 6:30 PM at the Mount Dora Masonic Temple, 535 N. Donnelly Street, Mount Dora.
This months supper will be Baked Ham, Sweet Potatoes, Parsley Potatoes, Green Beans, Salad, Bread, Beverages and Dessert all for $7.50 Per Person. Call Ill. Hank Link @ (352) 383-3078 by Noon Monday for Reservations.
This months meeting will be our Annual Charity Auction Fund Raiser. If you have something nice you really don’t have a use for anymore, bring it with you to donate and be aucti0ned off so we can make money for our charities.
Also the Valley of Orlando is having a Reunion to bring in New Members for the Scottish Rite on April 13th and 14th. This meeting will be your last opportunity to get a petition in for the Spring Reunion.
The Valley of Orlando is the only Scottish Rite in the entire Orient of Florida that confers All 29 Scottish Rite Degrees. Only the 4th, 14th, 18th, 30th and 32nd are required to be conferred. Orlando does them all over both the Spring and Fall Reunions.
If you already a Scottish Rite Mason, I encourage you to join us at Orlando Scottish Rite, 1485 Grand Road, Winter Park, FL 32793 on April 13th and 14th. We start at 7:00 AM and continue on through about 5:00 PM on both days.
