Dear Brethren:

The single-most observation that Masonry has taught me is that everything we do, everything we accomplish, is done so through teamwork and camaraderie. Through those efforts we walk away with a feeling of self-fulfillment.

The Master Mason I, II and III Examinations are open book type exams designed to give any Master Mason the opportunity to increase his knowledge of some of the Ancient Tenets, Rules and Regulations of Masonry.  They contain a mixture of multiple choice, True or False, or essay questions designed for all Master Masons. Furthermore, no Brother is obligated, although they are encouraged, to take the program.

On Saturday, March 29, 2014, and April 5, 2014, the Worshipful Master of Groveland Lodge 190 asked me to offer the Master Mason I, II and III Exams to interested Brothers. We will do this as a group. The coursework is the culmination of three different tests, each covering a different part of Masonic Education/Law.

Sat., March 29

Coffee and Rolls                                                 8:00 AM

Test I                                                                      9:00 AM

Lunch (provided)                                                 12:00 PM

Test II                                                                    1:00 PM

Dismissal when Test II is submitted

Sat., April 5

Coffee and Rolls                                                 8:00 AM

Test III                                                                  9:00 AM

Dismissal will be immediately after the completion of Test III. However, there is no actual completion time. I will stay at Lodge until the last person has submitted his work.

If additional test time becomes necessary for any brother of group of brothers, we can add that time—either on March 29 or April 5, or any other day YOU choose.

The Grand Lodge will issue certificates to Brethren who have successfully completed the exams once they have been submitted to the Chairmen of Masonic Education and graded by him.

Please RSVP so we know how much food we will need: or 352-227-4501 (home number).  If brethren from other Lodges care to join us all we ask is that you also let us know beforehand by calling or emailing. We ask you to bring a copy of the Digest of Masonic Law with you if you have a copy. If not, please ask your Lodge Secretary for one.
